WESTBROOK – The Shoreline Sailing Club is having a Halloween Dance Thursday, Oct. 16 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Westbrook Elks Lodge, 142 Seaside Ave., Westbrook. Dance music will be provided by the Black &amp; White Band, and costumes are requested. The cost is $10 for club members and $15 for guests. Regular meetings of the club, which is for anyone who is single, age 35 or over and interested in sailing, are held year-round on the first and third Thursdays of each month starting at 7:30 p.m. Club members enjoy sails on Long Island Sound, other water sports such as kayaking, and a variety of social and recreational activities.
