First my name is Shalisha, I am 18 years old, I have a beautiful son, he's 2 years old! I obviously had him young but, I never stopped striving for what I want such as education and my own business! He's actually a big part of why I am here today! He deserves a better life! Better than what I can offer him working 2 jobs and going to school missing out on him! I want more out of life and it starts here!
I've had my mind set on owning my own store since the ninth grade! I've wrote business plans that were never good enough for the bank. I wrote essays to win start-up money, only to fail here also! I am a teen mother! I took business classes and passed them in the Top 5 in my class every time. I want my own! I can be my own boss at 18, I penetrated a branch management job unheard of where I am from! Making matters worse my family doesn't believe in me! I need help and the banks are making it harder and I don't want the debt but, I will take a risk to get what I want! I have to crawl before I can walk, I admit I need help! I am young but, I've always been very ambitious! And I go for what I want my son deserves it! Help me succeed! You'll be proud too!
