Smooth Jazz Guitarist Ken Navarro Makes Rare Connecticut Appearance with His Band
Guitarist Ken Navarro Celebrates the Successful Release of his CD, "Ruby Lane," with keyboardist Jay Rowe and his band
KEN NAVARRO’s 21st album, “Ruby Lane,” is his first ensemble collection in 4 years and features Ken’s brilliant acoustic and electric guitar work. The CD includes the smooth jazz radio hits “Ruby Lane” and “Running Toward The Sun” - the latter a stunning version of the Stevie Wonder classic “Higher Ground,” and a song Ken wrote and dedicated to Coretta Scott King and Ethel Kennedy entitled “Kings and Queens.” “Ruby Lane” also features The Scheinbar String Quartet on Ken’s beautiful tour de force composition “When The Spirit Speaks.” You’ll remember KEN NAVARRO from his many performances here in CT at Jay Rowe’s Smooth Jazz for Scholars.
