St. George Men's Group Charity Golf Tournament Details Announced

From the St. George Men’s Group: The St. George Men’s Group will be hosting their 5th Annual Guilford Lakes Charity Golf Tournaments. The Tournaments will take place on Saturday, September 9th (rain date September 16th). The tournament includes 18 holes of golf followed by dinner.

The dinner includes a choice of steak or chicken, sides, beer, wine, water, and soda. There will be a putting contest, closest to the pin, and a hole in one contest with the prize being a free two year lease on a 2017 Lincoln.

All profits will go to St. Martin de Porres Academy in New Haven and The Guilford Fund for Education. St. Martin de Porres provides quality education and support for children in New Haven at no cost to their family. Their graduates all have gone on to high school with a 100% graduation rate! The format is best ball and scramble start.

The first tournament starts at 7:30 AM and is sold out. The second tournament starts at 12:30 PM and still has room for players. The cost remains the same at only $85.

Donations are always welcome. A donation of $100 includes a sign placed at a green or tee. People either will advertise their business or request a memorial to a loved one.
