The Zip Line Canopy Tour provides a great opportunity for participants to take positive risks, support one another, and challenge themselves to step outside of their comfort zone. Each participant will have a chance to find his/her inner leader and take on challenges with the moral support of the other group members. The Zip Line Canopy Tour is a unique experience that will challenge participants and promote group support!
Team Building Scavenger Hunt (ground based adventure)
The Scavenger Hunt is modeled after the TV show “Survivor”. Groups use a compass and map to navigate to different challenge stations in the Laurel Brook Forest on EMPOWER’s campus. Groups will be presented with a fun, team-building challenge at each station that they must solve in order to reveal the clue for the next station. - The Scavenger Hunt enables participants to practice various problem solving tactics and leadership styles. Participants must work together to earn points at each station by successful solving each presented problem. This is a great activity to explore, practice, and discuss various group dynamics and to assess the group’s problem solving techniques and strategies. - Each team’s point total will be recorded and the winning team(s) will be announced at the conclusion of the program.
