Town Clerk Explains Delay In Primary Absentee Ballot Delivery
The Secretary of State's office mailed out the first batch on July 27, not July 21 as promised.

We have been informed by the Secretary of State’s office that the first batch of absentee ballots for the Primary was mailed out on July 27th, not July 21st as promised. If you mailed in an application for an absentee ballot it should arrive within a few days. You must be a registered Democrat or Republican in order to vote in the Primary. The polls will be open on August 11th from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for those who still wish to vote in person.

If there were errors on the application that was mailed to you (incorrect birth date, address, name change or party affiliation) you must contact the Registrar of Voters, 203-453-8028. Any changes that affect your voter registration must be made through them.
We are not accepting applications for the November election at this time. Applications will not be available until sometime after the Primary.
