Watch Out for the Eastern Box Turtle in Guilford: Video

This little Eastern Box Turtle was spotted in Bittner Park earlier today crossing the parking area. These turtles are listed as a Species of Special Concern in Connecticut, as their numbers have sharply declined in the last few decades. Please keep this little one and her friends in mind when entering the parks, as cars are a big threat to them. Many turtle species are on the move looking for nesting sites.
