A Winning $2M Powerball Ticket Was Purchased In Guilford
The person who won the massive prize on a Powerball ticket bought at the Guilford store has yet to be identified.
GUILFORD, CT — Someone won $2,000,012 on a Powerball ticket purchased at Krauszers in Guilford.
The name of the person was not provided by the CT Lottery, but the ticket was purchased Tuesday. Krauszers is located at 350 Stepstone Hill Road.
As a general rule, the CT Lottery says, winners cannot remain anonymous.

"A winner's name, hometown, date of claim, game name, prize amount, and the Retailer name/location where the winning ticket was purchased are considered public information," it notes.
But, someone who wins a prize $10,000 or more may request to have their name removed from its Winner's List on the CT Lottery website by filling out a form. But winner information may still be disclosed pursuant to Freedom of Information Act request, unless the winner produces a valid protective order or Address Confidentiality Program authorization card.
