Wireless Zone of Guilford Promotes David Anderson to Assistant Manager

Wireless Zone is proud to announce the promotion of one of their most dedicated team members, David Anderson, to his current position as Assistant Manager of the of Guilford store location. Owners Steve Nowak and Matt Schloemann are elated to have David in this position of leadership, and know that he will undoubtedly continue to enhance the store’s customer centric reputation.

After working as a bike technician for three years, an employment announcement, via a Facebook post by manager Matt Schloemann, caught Anderson’s attention. He messaged Matt the next day inquiring about the position and an interview was immediately scheduled. “Dave was eager to learn about the industry. It is always evolving, and it’s crucial to hire team members that want to grow and develop parallel with the constant changes in the technology field,” says owner Steve Nowak.

Fresh into the new year, Anderson started his career at Wireless Zone in Guilford on January 2nd of 2013. Dave’s dedication to learning all aspects of the industry garnered him respect from his fellow team members and a committed customer base. In his first year, he earned the most esteemed award for being the top sales representative for acquiring the most New Opportunities and Mobile Broadband accounts. Six months later, he was promoted to Assistant Manager.

“Wireless Zone’s philosophy in regards to customer service is exceptional. We go above and beyond to make sure that someone comes in as a customer, and leaves as a friend. It’s a unique approach in the sales and technology field, and most assuredly the reason why we have so many repeat customers,” Anderson proclaims.

David’s primary focus as Assistant Manager will be to play a duel role in supporting the growth of the team on the sales floor, while equally supporting management with inventory, ordering and other back office duties. “I am excited to be Assistant Manager, but I am not stopping there! Hopefully I’ll eventually become a managing partner, and potentially an owner of multiple Wireless Zone locations.”

Matt Schloemann, manager of Guilford, is thankful to have David in this leadership role. “Dave is motivated and devoted to his growth on the sales floor, but his ability to oversee the team and ensure that they develop in an equal fashion makes him a perfect fit for an assistant manager, and eventually, a store owner.”
