1 Hospitalized After 3-Vehicle Crash In Hamden: Police

One driver was extricated from their vehicle and taken to the hospital, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Hamden, according to police.

Police responded to the intersection of Dixwell Avenue and Whitney Avenue around 10:30 a.m. on the report of an accident involving three vehicles, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.

The Hamden Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Dolan said the driver of one of the vehicles was extricated from her vehicle and taken to the hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
