1 Hospitalized After Shooting In Hamden: Police

The person was shot early Friday morning in Hamden, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A person was hospitalized after being shot early Friday morning in Hamden, according to police.

Police responded to the area of Treadwell Street and Bagley Avenue around 7:15 a.m. on multiple reports of shots fired, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.

Dolan said one person was shot in the shooting and was taken to St Raphael’s Hospital by a private vehicle with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are leading the investigation into the shooting, according to Dolan.

Dolan said ballistic evidence was recovered by police at the crime scene.
