$1M Lottery Prize Sold In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden resident recently won $1 million on a scratch ticket that was sold in town, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, chose the $1 million annuity prize on a Strike It Rich! scratch ticket that was sold at One Stop Convenience at 3070 Whitney Avenue in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
