2 New Haven Men Charged With Murder In Hamden Shooting: Police
Two men have been charged with murder and robbery in connection to the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — Two men were charged with felony murder and first-degree robbery in connection to a Hamden shooting in 2019, according to police.
Darrelle McFadden, of New Haven, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday and held on $1.5 million bond.
Patrick Ratliff-Jones, of New Haven, was arrested on a warrant Monday and held on $2.5 million bond.

The alleged crime occurred Dec. 8, 2019, when Hamden police received a 911 call from a person reporting the sound of gunfire and a person lying in the road on Whiting Street.
Police responded and found a victim who had had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

The victim was identified as Dennis Allen-Paige, 21, of Whiting Street.
Police later identified a suspect through "the employment of contemporary forensic science and traditional investigative techniques," according to a statement.
McFadden is scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court on April 17. Ratliff-Jones is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
