HAMDEN, CT — An Indiana resident recently won $440,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in Hamden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The West Lafayette, Indiana resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $440,000 on a $20,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE 2ND EDITION scratch ticket that was sold at 7-Eleven at 1795 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scam, according to officials.
