4th Of July Closures Announced For Hamden
Officials are reminding residents of the schedule for town buildings and trash pickup for the Independence Day holiday.
HAMDEN, CT — (From Town of Hamden): Town officials are reminding residents and staff of the following holiday schedule changes.
Town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, the Senior Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day, and will reopen Monday, July 6, at their regularly scheduled hours. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.
Due to the closure of the Hamden Transfer Station on Saturday, July 4 for the holiday, the Hamden Transfer Station will instead be open Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by this holiday.
