50 Cent Coming to Hamden for Vodka Bottle Signing Event

Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent is heading to Hamden next week to promote a product and if his recent visits to other cities are any indication, he figures to stick around for a while and lots of vodka will be sold.

50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, invests in and is the face of EFFEN Vodka and will be at Wine Merchants, at 2300 Dixwell Ave., in Hamden, on Thursday, May 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a bottle signing, according to NBC Connecticut.

At a recent stop at a local liquor store in upstate New York, 50 Cent spent nearly three hours signing for hundreds of people that showed up, according to Syracuse.com.

It was also a banner day for Liquor Warehouse, which was selling 13 bottles of EFFEN Vodka a minute, Syracuse.com reports.
