$50K Lottery Winner Sold In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in Hamden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Hamden resident won $50,000 on a Blackjack Tripler scratch ticket that was sold at E Hampton Grocery at 1978 State St., according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
