ADE dancers return from Virginia Beach as National Champions!
American Dance Experience Dancers bring home Nation Champion title!
Dancers from American Dance Experience traveled to Virginia Beach June 26 - June 30 to compete in the Dream Maker National Talent Competition and returned to Connecticut as National Champions!
The advanced senior line routine: “The Greatest Show”, intermediate junior large group routine “Rosie” and intermediate junior small group "Party Time" were awarded the prestigious title of National Champions in their respective categories.
“I knew coming in that these dancers were capable of doing this. Our kids are amazing, hard working and team players. To come here and walk away with all the awards they earned, while competing against some amazing talent and win a national championship – it’s just incredible.” said Alicia Corcoran, owner of American Dance Experience.

Next stop for the dancers is the World Dance Championship in Secaucus, New Jersey. ADE will be represented by 10 group dances. All teams competing had to be awarded a Golden Ticket invite to even attend the competition from one of over 200 regional and 4 national dance competitions.
The dancers have an intense week of rehearsal coming up before Worlds, which takes place July 30 - August 1. “These rehearsals focus on spacing and cleaning things up because they know their dances so well,” said DeCesare-Corcoran. “They're so excited to go and are definitely pumped.” “The experience of taking the kids out of a small town and showing them that there’s dance around the world is so important,” she said. “It also brings our studio together like a family. These kids will have a bond now forever.”
