Affordable Housing Project Proposed For Vacant Lot In Hamden: Report
A North Haven developer is proposing to build an apartment building that includes affordable housing in Hamden, according to a report.
HAMDEN, CT — A North Haven developer is proposing to build a 24-unit apartment building that includes affordable housing at a vacant lot on State Street in Hamden, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports plans by State Ridge, LLC call for the 24 apartments, including five deemed affordable under state statutes, to be built at 1935 State St. across from the East Rock Package Store.
The Hamden Planning and Zoning Commission will continue a public hearing on the proposal at its Aug. 13 meeting, according to the Register.
