Affordable Housing Units, Condos Planned For Vacant Site In Hamden
A developer is proposing to build more than 200 apartments, including affordable units, at a long vacant site in Hamden.
HAMDEN, CT — A developer is proposing to build more than 200 apartments, including 41 affordable units, at the long vacant High Meadows property on Hartford Turnpike in Hamden, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports Massachusetts-based Dakota Partners, Inc. plans to build 202 apartments and 68 condominiums while keeping around 22 acres of the 50-acre property as open space.
The plans need to be approved by the Hamden Legislative Council and Planning and Zoning Commission, according to the Register.
