ALDI Holding Hiring Event Today (Nov. 12) In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — ALDI is hosting a hiring event for Manager Trainee positions for all 25 of its Connecticut stores on Monday, Nov. 12 in Hamden. ALDI operates more than 1,800 stores in 35 states and is in the middle of an accelerated expansion plan to increase its store count to 2,500 and create 25,000 jobs by the end of 2022, according to a news release.

The hiring event will take place in Hamden at ALDI, located at 2300 Dixwell Avenue, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Nov. 12.

Salary/Wages: Manager Trainee: $60,000 per year ($25.50 per hour averaging 45 hours per week)

Opportunity to earn $80,000-$100,000 per year as a Store Manager

Job Requirements: Must be 18 years or older to apply

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Sunday-Monday

• Retail experience preferred

Management experience preferred

• Ability to lift 45 pounds
