American Dance Experience Dancers Help Collect Candy for Charity
Help benefit the Saint Jude Children's Hospital Annual Halloween Party
For the last few years, the students at American Dance Experience have been helping to collect bags of candy to help benefit the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital Annual Halloween Party. Working with Allyson Genovese, the founder of Ally G’s Everyday Angel Foundation, the dancers collect bags of candy. The candy has to be non-peanut based, and nothing loose, like candy corn. Once the candy is collected, on October 16th it is picked up by Allyson who then brings it all to St. Jude’s for the children there. Every year the students try to beat the total amount of bags collected from the year before. This year the studio is hoping to collect more than 100 bags of candy. Anyone interested in making a donation can drop the candy off at the studio.
American Dance Experience located at 128 Church Street in Hamden, CT. has been active in the community for over 50 years. Classes are offered for competitive and noncompetitive students from 18 months-Adult in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary, and Lyrical. As always Tap On!
