American Dance Experience Dancers Invited to World Dance Championships!!!

A team of dancers from American Dance Experience have been invited to compete in the 2016 World Dance Championship August 2-7 in Meadowlands, NJ. To be invited to the World Dance Championship, the dancers must attend a qualifying regional event and receive a first place in their age division.

Originally the group of dancers, who performed a tap routine to It don’t mean a thing were recognized with a judges special award and 1st place in their category. The winning streak continued by being awarded platinum 1st overall, top scoring routine in the advanced category and a choreography award. The girls were then overwhelmed with the announcement of being named regional champions, with an invitation to dance at such a prestigious event, the World Dance Championship.

The group of girls started their journey together back in September with the understanding that the upcoming season would require a tremendous amount of hard word and dedication, and these girls never looked back.

“I can’t help but smile” DeCesare-Corcoran said. “This is such a great accomplishment.”

“I’m very excited that the group’s hard work paid off and we got selected,” said Elena Arciero, member of the winning tap group. Amazing opportunities such as these wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for such exemplary teamwork.
