American Dance Experience Invited to Perform at Walt Disney World

From the American Dance Experience:

Hamden, CT – American Dance Experience located in Hamden, CT is excited to announce, they have been selected to perform at Disney Springs Waterside Stage in Walt Disney World on Sunday, July 17th. The 40 attending students ranging in age from seven to eighteen years old, will perform live in front of audience, under the direction of studio owner, Alicia DeCesare-Corcoran.

The dancers will be treated as cast members in true Disney style for the day. They will be picked up by bus at the Contemporary Resortand taken to the Walt Disney World Performing Arts Center where they will be met by Disney entertainment representatives. Dancers will prepare for their performance in the Disney performers dressing rooms, where many famous performers have once been.

Once ready, the dancers will rehearse their show at the Walt Disney World rehearsal studios. Dancers will be bused to Disney Springs Waterside Stage where they will star in their very own 30 minute Disney show, in front of hundreds of people from all over the world.

Alicia DeCesare-Corcoran, owner and director said she "couldn't believe the news when she receive it.” “I am so proud of all my students, especially for their hard work and dedication.”

“To have children being given the opportunity to take the stage at Walt Disney World, at this young of an age is quite the opportunity”, Susan Magliochetti, instructor.

Lily Buckheit, student, said “I am so excited to perform in Walt Disney World; it’s such a cool experience that I will always remember.”

For the dancers to get this once in a lifetime chance to be a Disney performer, it will be a memory they will have forever.
