Hamden Baseball Beats Xavier For 4th Straight Win: PHOTOS

The Hamden baseball team split recent games with Xavier and Cheshire this week.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden baseball team won its fourth straight game with a 10-8 victory over Xavier on Monday night at Palmer Field in Middletown.

The Green Dragons entered the game coming off wins over Shelton, 10-0 on April 20; West Haven, 13-1, on April 21; and Amity, 13-5, on April 24.

Hamden’s winning streak came to an end with a 6-2 loss to Cheshire on Wednesday at Hamden High School.

The Green Dragons (7-5) will take on Hillhouse/Career at 4 p.m. on Friday at Bowen Field in New Haven.
