HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden boys lacrosse team edged Sheehan in a thrilling 12-11 victory last Thursday at Riccitelli Field in Wallingford.
It was a nice bounce-back win for Hamden, which fell to Lyman Hall 14-13 in its previous game on Tuesday, May 12.
The Green Dragons improved to 8-6 with the win.
Hamden then faced a difficult task against Guilford, which came into Tuesday’s game with five straight wins.
The Grizzlies (13-3) made it six in a row with a 22-2 win over Hamden at Guilford High School.
Hamden will close out the regular season with a non-league game against Brien McMahon on Thursday, May 21, at 7 p.m. at Hamden High School.
