Hamden’s season came to an end with a second-round loss to New Canaan in the Class LL tournament.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden girls lacrosse team’s season came to an end with a 19-0 loss to third-seeded New Canaan in the second round of the CIAC Class LL tournament on Tuesday at New Canaan High School.

The Green Dragons, who were the tournament’s 14th seed, finished the season with a 7-10 record.

New Canaan advanced to a quarterfinal showdown with sixth-seeded Fairfield Ludlowe on Friday.
