HAMDEN, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that bridge work will be performed on Route 15 North in New Haven and Hamden from Exit 46 to 50 starting this weekend.
The project is scheduled to start on Sunday, July 19 and be completed on Friday, Aug. 7.
“This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair,” officials wrote in an advisory.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on Route 15 northbound between Exit 46 to 50 from Sunday, July 19 to Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sign patterns, crash attenuators with arrow boards, and State Police will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
