Frank Aprea Jr., 81, died July 12, 2026. A carpenter who owned his own business for many years before later working at Town Walk of Hamden, he was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Teshome G. Tensea, 41, died July 13, 2026. Born in Asmara, Eritrea, he worked as a maintenance engineer at the Omni Hotel in New Haven.

Thomas Bellonio Sr., 82, died July 15, 2026. A mason for 50 years, he was a proud member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local No. 1 and the Campania Italy Club who enjoyed following the New York Yankees and UConn men's and women's basketball, doing word searches, playing setback, and working on his lawn and garden.

Roberta Hellman, 92, died July 16, 2026. An editor for Ballet Review Magazine, she was passionate about ballet, enjoyed attending New York City Ballet performances, and also liked fashion, traveling and walking on the beach.

Judith R. Anastasio Mahaffy, 77, died July 17, 2026. An educator who taught in the Wallingford School System at Dag Hammarskjold Middle School and Parker Farms Elementary School until retiring in 2003, she later spent many years babysitting for local families and enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dorothy (Burns) Pulisciano, 102, died July 18, 2026; she contributed to the World War II home-front workforce, later owned and managed a used furniture store that partnered with the State of Connecticut to provide household furnishings to families in need, volunteered for many years with Annex Little League and served as president of its Women's Auxiliary, and remained active as Resident Council president and a representative at state council meetings while living at Whitney Manor.
