Special Olympics Connecticut has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the CVS Health Foundation through its "Hometown Fund." The grant will be dedicated to the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes® program to help the organization build its key clinical volunteer and provider network, expand its health and wellness offerings, and link its athletes to resources for care in their communities.

Volunteer opportunities with Special Olympics Connecticut will also be shared through CVS' "Community Crew" portal so employees can learn ways they can get involved and directly support athletes of all abilities.
