HAMDEN, CT — Hamden saw 69 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Cleaning and building-services businesses led the way with six filings, followed by wholesalers and residential landlords.
CleanStays was one of the more distinctive filings — a lodging business — joined by Chasers, a full-service restaurant and Mi deh yah Jamaican cuisine, a mobile food business. All but four organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were two professional LLCs and two corporations.
A registry filing is a legal step, not a grand opening, so some of these ventures are already operating while others are still getting started. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
