Hamden held a memorial ceremony on Friday morning at Hamden Freedom Park to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The ceremony included an American flag display by Hamden Fire Department Engine 5, an invocation by Bishop Bland of Revival Church, remarks from Mayor Adam Sendroff, the laying of a memorial wreath, a moment of silence, and remarks from Fire Chief Shelly L. Carter.
