HAMDEN, CT — A "Back-To-School Carnival" is being held in Hamden next month.
The event, which is sponsored by the Hamden Police Department Police Activity League, will be held from Oct. 9-12 at Hamden Town Center Park.
"The Hamden Police Department is excited to join Hamden PAL, the Town of Hamden, and Rockwell Amusements for four days of rides, games, food, music, and family fun!" reads a post on the town's Facebook page.
The carnival hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
Entry and parking are both free.
