HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce Health & Wellness Council will hold its Annual Health & Wellness Resource Festival on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thornton Wilder Auditorium, Miller Memorial Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden.
"This free community event brings together area health and wellness professionals, businesses and organizations to connect residents with valuable information, services and resources," according to a news release from the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce. "Attendees will have the opportunity to meet trusted professionals, learn about local programs and services, and explore resources designed to support health, wellness and quality of life."
Seniors, caregivers, families and community members are "encouraged to attend and take advantage of the many wellness resources available throughout the day including health screening, energy bill assistance and seasonal flu shots provided by Stop & Shop Pharmacy," according to the news release.
"We invite the community to join us for this informative and valuable event," Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce President Nancy Dudchik said. "It's a great opportunity to connect directly with local health and wellness professionals, ask questions and discover the many resources and services available right here in our community."
The Health & Wellness Resource Festival is free and open to the public.
