Thirteen Hamden homes hold open houses Oct. 10-11, priced from $175,000 to $554,000, including a ranch with Sleeping Giant views.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden has a busy open-house weekend. It runs from a Lake Whitney condo to a ranch with Sleeping Giant views, an in-ground pool and a pool-house bar, and from a Spring Glen Colonial with leaded-glass windows to a ranch on almost 2 acres with its own pond, a brook and a sauna near West Rock Ridge State Park.

Thirteen Hamden homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $175,000 to $554,000, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 10

12 Windsor Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $329,999. This 1951 Cape has hardwood floors in the living room and all four bedrooms, an updated kitchen with a granite breakfast bar and a finished lower-level family room. The listing says it's sold as-is and depends on the seller finding housing. It's a four-bedroom, one-bath home with 1,042 square feet.

12 W. Helen St., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $290,000. This 1935 house sits in a residential area with easy access to New Haven, according to the listing. It's a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home with 1,585 square feet.

200 Highland Ave., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $299,900. On a cul-de-sac in Mount Carmel, this 1942 Cape has an updated kitchen, a first-floor bedroom and bath and two upstairs bedrooms with walk-in closets and built-ins. A roof about 4 years old, irrigation and an oversized two-car garage round it out. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,096 square feet. Its price was cut by $15,100 on Oct. 5.

149 Kathrine Drive, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., $314,900. On a cul-de-sac, this 1963 ranch has hardwood floors, an eat-in kitchen and a heated and cooled enclosed porch leading to a partially fenced yard. The listing says it needs some TLC, and the lower-level second bath has only plumbing and electric in place. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,496 square feet. It's also open Monday, Oct. 12.

75 Brinsmade Road, noon to 2 p.m. (also Sunday, noon to 2 p.m.), $425,000. At the end of a quiet dead-end street on almost 2 acres, this 1952 ranch overlooks its own pond, with a brook winding through the property and West Rock Ridge State Park nearby. Inside are a granite kitchen, two renovated baths and a private sauna. It's a four-bedroom, two-bath home with 2,148 square feet.

40 Booth Terrace, noon to 2 p.m., $554,000. On a 0.53-acre lot, this updated 1970 home has a quartz kitchen and an in-ground pool with a stone deck, and it's near Sleeping Giant State Park and Quinnipiac University. The listing notes the photos are digitally enhanced. It's a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home with 1,842 square feet.

17 Ralston Ave., 1 to 3 p.m., $369,000. In Whitneyville, this renovated Cape has new kitchen cabinets, refinished hardwood floors, a home office and three upstairs bedrooms with walk-in closets. The listing says it's sold as-is. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,586 square feet.

22 N. Lake Drive #D2, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $175,000. In North Lake, a condo community off Whitney Avenue surrounded by Lake Whitney, this unit has a remodeled granite kitchen, a private balcony and a pool for residents, and the HOA covers heat and hot water. The listing says the sale depends on the owner finding a replacement property. It's a one-bedroom, one-bath condo with 738 square feet; the HOA fee is $429 a month.

9 Valley View Drive #9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $305,000. This end-unit townhouse has a deck, a possible third bedroom or office and a finished lower-level family room with a full bath. It has an attached garage. Zillow lists it as a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with 1,584 square feet; the HOA fee is $450 a month.

114 Murlyn Road, noon to 1 p.m., $424,999. Across three parcels with Sleeping Giant views, this 1953 ranch has a remodeled kitchen, two fireplaces including a wood stove and a vaulted primary suite with a studio or office area. Out back are an in-ground pool, sun patios and a pool house with a bar. It's a three-bedroom, three-bath home with 1,594 square feet.

79 Federal St., noon to 1:30 p.m., $320,000. This 1960 ranch has hardwood floors, a living room with a picture window and a fireplace, and an eat-in kitchen opening to a deck. The listing describes a finished lower level with two more bedrooms, a full bath and a family room. Zillow lists it as a three-bedroom, one-bath home with 1,404 square feet.

160 Wilmot Road, 1 to 4 p.m., $344,900. On a flat lot, this 1942 Cape has a granite eat-in kitchen, a newly remodeled primary bath and a primary bedroom with an attached sitting room. It has a one-car garage. It's a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home with 1,188 square feet.

Also open Sunday: 75 Brinsmade Road (noon to 2 p.m.).

Make a weekend of it: Saturday starts with three 11 a.m. openings, Windsor Road, West Helen Street and Highland Avenue. Midday brings Brinsmade Road's pond and Booth Terrace's pool, and the afternoon ends in Whitneyville and Spring Glen. Sunday's highlight is Murlyn Road's Sleeping Giant view, open from noon to 1 p.m.
