In New Haven March 17, 2011 Joseph A. Tobin 83, of Hamden.

Beloved husband of Joyce (Butler) Tobin. Loving father of Robert T. Tobin (Patricia) of Hamden, Joseph E. (Elizabeth) Tobin of Wallingford, Donna Iezzi (Robert) of Kentucky and Mary Lucibello (Michael) of Hamden. Also survived by his 8 cherished grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Patricia Ann Williams and a sister Mary Carrano.

Joseph was born in New Haven February 8, 1928 son of the late Joseph and Ann (Horan) Tobin. Prior to his retirement he was the sexton at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for 23 years and had worked at the Knights of Columbus in Hamden.

His funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
