Archdiocese Welcomes Asst. Director of Finance

The Archdiocese of Hartford is pleased to welcome James Fried as  Director of Financial Services and Assistant Director of Finance.

James Fried brings 20 years of experience in the area of finance, accounting and business operations to his position as Director of Financial Services and Assistant Director of Finance of the Archdiocese of Hartford. He will help manage the day-to-day operations of the archdiocese by formalizing and enhancing financial services and policies. He will be responsible for revenue and expense analysis as well as support the offices and affiliated corporations of the Archdiocese of Hartford.

Prior to coming to the Archdiocese of Hartford, Fried worked for Timex Group USA, Inc. in Waterbury as Assistant Treasurer, and was a financial consultant at SK Capital Partners in New York City.

Fried has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting & Management from Post University, and a Master of Business Administration Degree in International Business and Finance from Quinnipiac University.

Fried and his wife reside in Terryville with their two Labrador retrievers.
