HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac University’s M&T Bank Center for Women and Business will host a fireside chat with author and former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi on Thursday, March 6.
Nooyi will speak with Quinnipiac President Judy Olian from 11 a.m.-noon in the Center for Communications, Computing and Engineering, Room 101, on the Mount Carmel Campus, 275 Mount Carmel Ave.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the Eileen Peters Farley ’68 Speaker Series for Women in Business.
This annual event is a meaningful tribute to the memory and legacy of Peters Farley, an accomplished entrepreneur and a long-term president of the Southern California Quinnipiac University Alumni Chapter. Each year, the Center selects a distinguished businesswoman for the Center’s Impact Award.
In addition to the fireside chat, the 2025 Impact Award will be presented to Nooyi for her passionate advocacy of women in the workplace.

Nooyi was CEO and chairman of PepsiCo from 2006-19. Having served as its president & CFO between 2000-06, Nooyi was also a member of the PepsiCo Board of Directors from 2001-19. Today, she is a member of the Board of Directors of Amazon, where she chairs the audit committee. She sits on the Supervisory Board of Philips, where she is also a member of the nominating and corporate governance committee. Nooyi is a member of the International Advisory Council of Temasek as well as a member of the Advisory Board of Apollo Investment.
She is on the Dean’s Advisory Council at MIT’s School of Engineering and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Board of Trustees of the National Gallery of Art.
