Bankwell Holiday Collections For Children, Seniors
Two collections will be held, with one benefiting the Clifford Beers Clinic and another on behalf of the Hamden Senior Community.

HAMDEN, CT - From Bankwell: Bankwell invites the community to help spread some extra holiday cheer this season through two collection initiatives – one benefitting the Clifford Beers Clinic and another on behalf of the Hamden Senior Community.
There is a collection box for each organization at Bankwell’s 2704 Dixwell Avenue branch in Hamden and 24 Washington Avenue branch in North Haven.
The Clifford Beers Clinic is seeking new, unwrapped toys or gift cards for children through December 10 th . Clifford Beers is a mental health clinic serving children and families in the Greater New Haven area, and their focus is on working with children who have experienced trauma, such as abuse, neglect, witnessing community violence, and loss of a loved one. Offering a wide variety of programs and services – from individual, group and family therapy to providing a family with complete wraparound care – the Clifford Beers Clinic strives to ensure that children and families in our community can thrive.

The Hamden Senior Commuity Gift Run benefits local seniors. This collection, which runs through December 1st , includes new and unused large puzzle books, unscented soaps, hand sanitizer, decks of cards, sugar-free cough drops, non-electric heating pads, book lights, blankets, flashlights, instant soup and hot cocoa. All donations will be given to our friends at the Miller Senior Center and also brought to homebound senior
citizens courtesy of the VNA Community Healthcare.
