HAMDEN, CT — A Waterbury resident recently won $10,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in Hamden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The winning 30X Cash 10th Edition scratch ticket was sold at Smoker Express at 2300 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
