Located in the historical Spring Glen area of Hamden is a treasure of a pizza restaurant.

, situated on 1630 Whitney Ave., is Spring Glen’s secret. Paul & Eddy’s has been a fixture for more than 20 years. The façade fits the neighborhood with its warm stone face exterior, allowing for a historical continuation of the neighborhood.

Paul & Eddy’s is a neighborhood pizza restaurant just like the ones from several decades ago, before society became so dependent on cars.  Paul & Eddy’s also attracts from outside the neighborhood with its reputation for good food. Their dining room allows for a nice eating experience with comfort and a familiar home feeling. They are able to seat 35 customers comfortably. They are a family friendly restaurant as well as a great place for after work to unwind with friends.

To top a pizza, there are 18 different ingredients to choose from. Try a vegetarian, clams casino or a Hawaiian pizza to name a few. Their meatball grinders are one of their most popular items on the menu; they also offer chicken and eggplant grinders. Pasta, calzones, wraps and salads are additional meals on the menu.

Paul & Eddy’s will participate in the 2^nd annual Hamden/North Haven Pizza Expo. The Expo is a benefit with all proceeds going to walk to end Alzheimer’s. They will compete against more than 10 other area Pizza restaurants for the title of Best Pizza. The event will take place on September 17, from 2-4 p.m. at Atria Larson Place, 1450 Whitney Ave. Admission is $10.00 and emceeing is Steve Savino from WQUN. There will be a raffle as well as face painting, and other activities. Come join the fun, sample some delicious pizza for a good cause, and a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon meeting good people.
