Bomb Threat Evacuates Hamden High School: Police
Students and staff have returned to the school after a bomb threat was investigated Tuesday morning, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A bomb threat evacuated Hamden High School on Tuesday morning, according to police.
Police received a call around 7:45 a.m. regarding a bomb threat at the school, according to Lt. Anthony Diaz.
“Hamden Police along, with the Board of Education staff, put a plan in place to evacuate the building,” Diaz wrote in a news release. “With the assistance of Canine Units from the New Haven Police Department and the Yale-University Police Department, the school and surrounding area was searched. Nothing was found to substantiate the threat.

“Students and school staff were cleared to return to the school. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit, along with Federal Authorities, are continuing with the investigation.”
