Additionally, training in the use and care of hearing aids and/or assistive listening devices as well as communication and listening skills with hearing aids can be integrated into home life and into any therapy sessions also taking place there. Friends and family are encouraged to be active partners in hearing treatment and be a familiar voice in hearing aid demonstrations.
