PARA Academy of Music and Arts, LLC

PARA Academy of Music and Arts, LLC was founded in 2018 by Ranendra and Pamela Das.
PARA offers private and group classes in the Indian Classical drum, tabla.
We welcome students of all ages and experience levels. Lessons are offered in-person throughout Connecticut and the NY Tri-State area. In-person and online classes are available, and registration is open year-round.
Ranendra Das' formal tabla training began at age 3, and has continued ever since. He has studied with many teachers in Bangladesh and India, and has been teaching and performing tabla professionally since 1996.
​Ranendra earned his Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Bridgeport, studying Western Classical and Indian Classical music with Tabla as his major instrument. He earned his Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. He teaches and performs locally, in the New York Tri-State area, nationally, and internationally.
Ranendra is available for performances and rehearsal accompaniment.
