Calcagni Real Estate Welcomes Two to Hamden Office

Calcagni Real Estate president Steven Calcagni announces the appointment of residential sales agents Marcia Ricchiuto of Hamden and Kris Hyun of North Haven to the company’s Hamden office.

Marcia Ricchiuto was born and raised in Brazil, where she spent 13 years as an “English as a foreign language” teacher. She holds a Bachelors of Art in Portuguese and in English. After moving to the United States, she taught English as a second language for four years and was a real estate agent in Indiana before moving to Hamden, Connecticut.

Ricchiuto has a keen appreciation for Connecticut’s historic homes, buildings and assorted museums and art galleries. She has fallen in love with her new home town of Hamden, and looks forward to helping her clients establish roots in whatever town will make them happy.

Kris Hyun moved to the United States from his home in Seoul, Korea when he was 15 years old. Prior to becoming a REALTOR, he aspired to become a professional soccer player. Though he came close to fulfilling that dream, it will be Hyun’s previous marketing experience from his work managing a dental lab and the lessons he teaches his students as a Taekwondo instructor that he will apply to his new role of REALTOR. As a Taekwondo instructor, he teaches his students CRISP (an acronym for Courtesy, Respect, Integrity, Self-Control, and Perseverance) Determination. Hyun strives to live by these words both personally and professionally.
