The League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven is hosting a Meet & Greet with Hamden's legislative candidates on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Miller Memorial Library, Thornton Wilder Hall, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden.
All candidates for the CT Legislature representing Hamden have been invited to attend. Each candidate will have approximately five minutes to introduce themselves and discuss the issues they believe are most important. Following the presentations, attendees will have an opportunity to meet the candidates individually, ask questions, and learn where they stand on issues that matter to Hamden residents.
The decisions made in Hartford affect our schools, taxes, public safety, transportation, healthcare, and many other aspects of our daily lives. This event gives voters something campaign ads and mailers cannot: the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and engage with them in a nonpartisan setting.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
