Dancing Hamden Dentist Becomes Internet Sensation

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden dentist has become an internet sensation after a video of him dancing has been viewed more than six million times on Facebook, as of Wednesday afternoon.

The dancing dentist — Hamden native Kevin D’Andrea — told the New Haven Register that he decided to join the latest social media craze sweeping the nation, the “In My Feelings” challenge, after seeing that dentists were participating in it. The video, in which D’Andrea can been seen dancing to “In My Feelings” by Drake, has been shared more than 73,000 times on Facebook and has garnered more than 44,000 “likes.” Watch the video at the end of this story.

D’Andrea is a dentist at D’Andrea and Pantera, DMD, on Whitney Avenue in Hamden.
