'The Dead Zone' Book Discussion At Miller Memorial Library
The Hamden Book Group will be discussing "The Dead Zone" by Stephen King on Monday, Oct.23.

From Miller Memorial Library:The Hamden Book Group will be discussing “The Dead Zone” by Stephen King on Monday, Oct.23 at 6:30 pm in the Activity Room of the Senior Center and Thursday, Oct. 26 at 2:30 pm at Miller Memorial Library 2901 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden 06518.
In an article entitled “10 Best Stephen King Books,” Andy Green writes in Rolling Stone Magazine, “King wrapped up his incredible run of 1970s books with The Dead Zone, the tale of Johnny Smith, a schoolteacher who awakens from a coma with psychic abilities. When he meets a deranged politician destined to become president he faces the horrible choice about whether or not he should assassinate him. It's a riveting story.”
There is no fee for the program, and the public is welcome to attend. Copies of the book are available at the
