Demolition Of Former Hamden Middle School, Neighborhood Foundation Repairs To Be Focus Of Community Meeting
Officials are asking residents to take an online survey related to the upcoming community meeting.
HAMDEN, CT — A community meeting will be held later this month focused on the Newhall neighborhood foundation repairs and the demolition of the former Hamden Middle School.
The meeting, sponsored by the Hamden Newhall Neighborhood Association, will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23 at Breakthrough Church at 481 Shelton Avenue in Hamden.
“Town officials, project consultants, and technical experts will be on hand to share updates, discuss next steps, and answer questions related to the work ahead,” officials wrote in a post on the town’s Facebook page. “This meeting is an opportunity to hear directly from those involved, understand what to expect, and make your voice heard.”

Officials are asking residents to take an online survey designed to help identify the questions, concerns, and information residents would like addressed at the meeting.
“Your responses will help panelists prepare clear, accurate information to ensure the meeting focuses on what matters most to the community,” according to the survey form.
