Details Announced for Hamden's Brooksvale Fall Festival

The festival will feature outdoor adventures, including pony rides, hayrides, a climbing wall and more.

The 16th Annual Brooksvale Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, September 26 (rain date is the next day), from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brooksvale Park in Hamden.

The festival will feature a variety of outdoor adventures, include pony rides, a horse-drawn hayride, a tractor-drawn hayride through a haunted forest, and a climbing wall.

There will also be a hay maze, a pumpkin patch with pumpkins for sale, and a Kid’s Zone with games and crafts. Hamden High School’s Reptile Club will return this year. And there will be a Birds of Prey demonstration as well as a demonstration by the Hamden Police Department’s K-9 unit.

The event will also have great music and great food, plus educational displays on such topics as beekeeping. Dozens of “natural” crafters and community organizations will be on the field.

Admission to the event and parking is free. Cash is required for ticket purchases for some activities with no activity costing more than $5. Food vendors and crafters also require cash. Please note that there is no ATM or wireless access at the park.

Brooksvale Park is located in northern Hamden at 524 Brooksvale Avenue, 1 mile off Whitney Avenue.
